The Founder
I know what it feels like to be stuck.
I can remember sitting at the kitchen
table with my laptop open and tears in
my eyes, wondering if I was crazy for
thinking I could build something bigger
than myself. The mission burned in my
chest, but the chaos around me?
Whew. It nearly took me out. I had no
roadmap. Just $7,000 in the bank, 30
days until shut down, and a prayer
that this calling wasn’t a mistake.
I had to make a decision. I chose to believe that mission and margin could coexist. That I didn’t have to sacrifice my health, my family, or my faith to do this work. I chose to reject burnout culture and build something different.
